🚨 Let the API Control Task Order: The Missing Piece for AI Planning#356

Tweek’s API is already surprisingly powerful, but one missing capability breaks one of the most important AI use cases: creating a daily plan in the exact order the user asked for.

Right now, ChatGPT can create 10 to 20 tasks perfectly, with dates, notes, checklists, reminders, recurrence, etc., but Tweek may display those tasks in a completely different order.

I tested:
● batch creation
● one-by-one creation
● normal order
● reverse order

None of them reliably preserve the intended visual sequence.

What’s missing is a simple way to control the position of a top-level task inside a day, for example:
▪︎ position / sortIndex / rank

or an action like:
▪︎ Move Task A before Task B

This would unlock a huge improvement for AI integrations.

A user could say:
“Plan my entire day in this exact order.”
and ChatGPT could actually deliver that plan exactly as intended, instead of creating everything correctly and then forcing the user to manually drag 15 tasks into place.

Checklist items already preserve their supplied order. Top-level tasks should have the same capability.
Small API addition. Massive UX improvement.

This would make Tweek feel genuinely AI-native rather than simply AI-connected.
